Air Signs [Gemini + Libra + Aquarius]
Six of Swords: A shock of clarity (Justice) then a sobering journey to calmer waters (6 of Swords) is what you may be experiencing now. I think it bears repeating that, despite what things may feel like, calmer waters are ahead. Don’t forget that what’s ahead is offering the peace you seek. The turbulent waters depicted in the 6 of Swords card (water signifies emotions in the tarot), are what you’re leaving behind. Right now is a great time to do self-care rituals that help you release stuck emotions and visualize the future you want. You’re headed there. That moment of clarity opened a door.
Water Signs [Pisces + Cancer + Scorpio]
Eight of Pentacles: Now isn’t the time to let the chaos of the world, or even your personal life, dissuade you from your long-term vision. The 8 of Pentacles is all about focusing until you complete your task. You have a clear vision of what you want, you just need to put in the work that will get you there. And you’ve already done a fair amount of the work. If big truths have been revealed or karma is showing up for those who’ve earned it, make a mental note, but don’t let it distract you from watering all the seeds you’ve planted these past several months. Get in the zone by tapping into your creative muses or inspiration.
Fire Signs [Aries + Leo + Sagittarius]
Eight of Cups: If you skim the tarot readings for all the signs, you may have noticed the number 8 has come up again. I like to pay attention to the imagery, astrology and numbers on the cards to interpret messages. And 8 is a number that represents karma – an important message that’s also echoed by the Justice card. What exactly does the 8 of Cups mean? I like to think of it as knowing there’s something you need to walk away from, in order for you to find the emotional fulfillment you seek. It’s not a decision you make lightly, but it is one you need to make.
Earth Signs [Taurus + Virgo + Capricorn]
King of Swords: Truth, boundaries, truth and more boundaries. lol That is the short of it if we’re talking the Justice card + the King of Swords. In fact, the King of Swords is somewhat of a Minor Arcana mirror of Justice. Both cards represent air energy, truth and clarity. The added insight I can share from the King of Swords is that getting clear on your boundaries, and sticking to them, will be incredibly important for you – especially if you’ve been waiting for your good karma to roll in. Embodying the energy of this card means using your logic, intellect and self-discipline to cut out, or deprioritize, the things that don’t align with your goals. I think my fellow earth signs can understand the necessity of this energy. Let’s be honest, you were born to make executive decisions ;)

The truth frees us. But that doesn’t mean it’s always an easy pill to swallow.
Recognizing peoples’ true motives… Sitting with certain realities of your relationship or work dynamics…Seeing the way society works…can be quite the doozy. But once we know the truth, we can break through any barriers that have kept us in a karmic loop.
YOUR SELF-CARE GUIDE
Yes, the Justice card is about truth, fairness, karma and boundaries. (Karma will eventually bring balance, and enforce alllll the boundaries that will get us there.) But let’s not forget that Libra (like the sign Taurus) is Venus-ruled.
Venus is all about beauty, harmony and relationships.
What does that look like as far as your self-care? How about playing up all the Venusian qualities of life that you love.
Make your surroundings or personal items (your work space, apartment, clothing, etc.) as beautiful and appealing to your senses as you can. Really tap into what beauty means to you. Experiment with your hair or revamp your personal style. Cherish the change of the season, the cooler air and the romantic shades of yellow, orange and red the leaves take on. There’s an autumnal bliss outside. Go explore.
Beauty and love (including self love) always softens things. Don’t skimp on either right now.
WHERE TO WANDER
This season, let’s take it back to the basics.
If you don’t have one of these crystals already, head to your local spiritual or metaphysical shop and pick one (or hell, two or three or four) that strike your fancy.
Some crystals that help with clarity include: Aquamarine, Blue Lace Agate, Clear Calcite, Desert Rose Selenite, Fluorite and Lapis Lazuli. There are so many others too, so take your pick!
Feel free to carry a smaller crystal in your bag or pocket, or put them somewhere in your home where you can see them often.
Another option that’s free and extremely accessible? Wear the color blue, which represents peace and clarity. The color white also represents clarity and balance, and is great for fresh starts. It’s no coincidence that we often associate blue and white with the air signs (Libra, Gemini, Aquarius).
